Logicall Group has Purchase Price Allocation drawn up for the acquisition of Shipcloud

As part of the acquisition of shipping software company Shipcloud, Logicall Group, an internationally operating logistics service provider, engaged Match Plan to value intangible assets. The valuation was performed via a Purchase Price Allocation (PPA), in accordance with applicable annual reporting guidelines. This PPA was necessary for the correct processing of the transaction in the financial administration and provides insight into the economic value of the acquired assets.

Founded in Hamburg in 2013, Shipcloud offers a cloud-based platform for parcel shipping. Through a single, central interface, online retailers can connect their store, ERP, CRM, or WMS systems to virtually all major carriers. The platform supports features such as automatic label generation and multi-carrier tracking, allowing customers to track shipments in real time. Shipcloud thus addresses the growing need for scalable, flexible, and automated shipping solutions for e-commerce companies.

Part of a broader digitalization strategy

Since the takeover by Waterland Private Equity, Logicall Group has been working on a buy and build strategy Focused on logistics innovation, Shipcloud aligns seamlessly with this, with its focus on technological integrations and ease of use. Within Logicall, Shipcloud is a valuable addition to its digital service offering, alongside companies like 12Return, VCK Logistics, and Rollema. The addition of Shipcloud enables Logicall to further strengthen its position as a progressive logistics player.

Match Plan as an experienced PPA partner

The valuation of Shipcloud's intangible assets was carried out by Match Plan, under the leadership of Richard Peeters, Director of Valuation. The PPA included technology, customer relationships, and software licenses.
