Batenburg Beheer strengthens installation division with acquisition of Dekker van Geest
The listed company Batenburg Beheer has acquired mechanical engineering installation company Dekker van Geest. With this takeover Batenburg is further expanding its installation technology activities. Dekker van Geest will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary within the group, retaining its current management.
Growth through specialization in technology
Batenburg Beheer provides technical services, focusing on installation technology and technical trade. The group comprises twelve operating companies in the Netherlands and Belgium and employs approximately 950 people. With the addition of Dekker van Geest, which generates a turnover of €11,000,000, Batenburg strengthens its position in the mechanical engineering segment.
A valuable addition to the group
Dekker van Geest brings specialized knowledge and a strong regional position. Joining Batenburg Beheer offers opportunities for further growth, while maintaining the existing business operations and management. The group's scale and strength create room for continuity and expansion.
Match Plan again involved in takeover
Match Plan guided Batenburg Beheer throughout the entire acquisition process. The collaboration between the two parties has a long history: in 2007, Match Plan already supported the sale Daelman Systems to Batenburg. Batenburg once again relied on Match Plan's expertise for this strategic acquisition. Hans van de Pas acted as advisor on behalf of Match Plan during the process.
