NulVier Childcare grows with acquisitions and strategic partnerships
NulVier Childcare from Boxtel has been guided by Match Plan in several strategic acquisition processes in recent years. This included, among other things, the takeover from Kids Talent in Heeze, a merger with Childcare Joepie, a management buyout and finally the sale of the organization. In this final phase, a strategic partnership was established with Norlandia Childcare, in which NulVier's directors, Monic Holman and Arno Dielesen, were once again successfully guided by Match Plan.
Grow from strength and vision
NulVier Childcare operates in North Brabant and offers childcare at sixteen locations. With approximately 125 employees, the organization provides daycare, after-school care, and toddler care for children aged 0 to 13. Despite challenging market conditions, including an economic recession, NulVier has grown into a leading player in Central and East Brabant. This growth was made possible by both acquisitions and the organic expansion of its own locations.
The merger with Kinderopvang Joepie, an organization with three locations and twenty employees in Heeze, led to the establishment of NulVier Joepie within the De Nieuwe Hoeven Child Center in 2014. Since then, various types of childcare have been offered under one roof.
Future-proof with Norlandia
To ensure NulVier's long-term continuity, Holman and Dielesen opted for a strategic partnership with Norlandia Kinderopvang. This Dutch branch of the Norwegian Norlandia Care Group combines expertise in childcare, nursing hotels, and elderly care, with a total of 5,750 employees in four countries. Under the partnership, all NulVier locations will be retained and expanded where possible, while fully preserving the NulVier identity.
Match Plan as an advisor for multiple processes
Match Plan supported NulVier Kinderopvang through several projects. Professional advice and clear communication were central to each project, with a focus on both entrepreneurship and the social role of childcare. The Match Plan deal team consisted of Rens Knevels and Erik Smidt.
