Mr. P. van Hooijdonk has acquired a minority interest in Comgoed Beheer BV through a management buy-in (MBI). With this step, he is fulfilling his entrepreneurial ambition and joining a growing organization in the agricultural, horticultural, and civil engineering sectors as an external co-entrepreneur.
Raw materials for soil and construction
Comgoed is a wholesaler, purchasing, and sales organization active in circular raw materials. The company consists of three business units: Comgoed Soil and Residuals, Comgoed Biomass, and Comgoed Compost. Through these activities, the company supplies high-quality materials and advice to market players in the agricultural, horticultural, and civil engineering sectors.
By focusing on sustainable applications and the efficient reuse of residual materials, Comgoed responds to the increasing demand for circular and environmentally conscious solutions in the construction and green sectors.
The role of Match Plan during the MBI
Match Plan guided Mr. P. van Hooijdonk throughout the entire takeover process. This included determining the appropriate acquisition structure, conducting a valuation, guiding the negotiations and documenting the agreements in the transaction documentation.
