Ecocharge joins Uijen & Co for further expansion of sustainable mobility
Ecocharge, specialist in charging solutions for electric vehicles, joins at Uijen & Co, a Dutch installer in the field of sustainable mobility. With this takeover Uijen & Co strengthens its position in the charging infrastructure market, while Ecocharge can further expand its expertise with a partner that has been involved in the installation of charging stations for many years.
Seamless combination of expertise
The long-standing partnership between Ecocharge and Uijen & Co creates a seamless integration of sales and installation. Ecocharge will continue to operate under its own name, with founder Will Verhagen, the original shareholder, remaining actively involved. His years of experience contribute to acquiring new business, while Uijen & Co ensures the implementation and further professionalization of the service. Together, they can offer customers a complete, efficient, and scalable charging network.

Match Plan as an advisor during the process
After an initial meeting, Ecocharge proposed Uijen & Co as a candidate. Match Plan guided Will Verhagen in making the right choices regarding the next steps, ultimately reaching good agreements with this candidate. Match Plan then appointed the Letter of Intent (LOI) and the purchase agreement, coordinated the book research and guided Will through to the closing at the notary's office. In addition to business guidance, Match Plan also offered emotional support to Will Verhagen, who found the process nerve-wracking and was reassured.
