The shareholders of Emdaplast, a specialist in medical products for plastic surgery, have sold their company to Emdamed. With this takeover Emdamed's market position within the healthcare sector is further strengthened. Match Plan assisted the sales process from start to finish.

Emdaplast has been active as a specialized wholesaler of medical devices since the 1980s. Its product range includes breast implants, postoperative clothing, and various surgical products. The company is the exclusive distributor of brands such as Eurosilicone, Marena, and Carefix and supplies its products to recognized private clinics and hospitals in the Netherlands. From its Zoetermeer location, Emdaplast is known for quality, reliability, and customer-focused service.
Strategic acquisition within the healthcare sector
The buyer, Emdamed, is an established supplier of medical products for surgery, anesthesia, intensive care, respiratory care, and nursing. The acquisition of Emdaplast aligns with Emdamed's strategic ambitions to strengthen its position in the healthcare sector and expand its product range. The role of Match Plan
Match Plan guided Emdaplast's shareholders throughout the entire sales process. The process started with an indicative valuation, after which suitable buyers were identified and approached. After several introductory and in-depth discussions, Match Plan guided the legal structuring of the transaction, the negotiations and the recording of the agreements made in the takeover documents.
