Julian Wagenhuis has acquired an interest in Excellent Carwash through a management buy-in (MBI). This move follows his earlier sale of Translation Kings and marks his entry as an entrepreneur into an established player in the Amsterdam car wash industry.
Environmentally friendly washing in Amsterdam
Excellent Carwash is a modern car wash in Amsterdam, specializing in sustainable and environmentally friendly car cleaning. The company uses its own groundwater source and cleans and recycles the water used. Furthermore, they use only biodegradable shampoos and waxes. Customers benefit from manual pre-cleaning of vehicles and additional services such as vacuuming the interior, cleaning mats with a special mat cleaner, and the sale of cleaning cloths and car fragrances.
The role of Match Plan during the MBI
Match Plan guided Julian Wagenhuis through the entire acquisition process of Excellent Carwash. This included structuring the takeover, drawing up a acquisition profile, performing a valuation, guiding the negotiations and drafting the transaction documentation. The process was supervised by Hans van de Pas on behalf of Match Plan.
