Jacques' Kruidenboter opts for continuity with sale to CONO Cheesemakers

With the sale The transfer of Jacques' Kruidenboter to CONO Cheesemakers marks the beginning of a new phase for the Den Helder-based company. After more than 45 years of entrepreneurship, owner Wim van der Linde is handing over the reins. The transaction secures the future of the approximately 30 employees and gives the company the opportunity to grow further within a stronger structure.

More than 45 years of taste and continuity

Jacques' Kruidenboter specializes in herb butter, white cheese products, and meal seasonings. For decades, the company has supplied supermarket chains, food service providers, and the food industry, both domestically and internationally. Under the leadership of Wim van der Linde, it has grown into a leading player in the category. As Wim approaches retirement, CONO Cheesemakers has found a natural successor who understands the company's values and will ensure continuity for customers and partners.

Strengthening the position in the dairy category

CONO Cheesemakers, a cooperative of 390 dairy farmers and 225 cheesemakers, is known for its premium cheese brands and strong position in the Dutch dairy market. With the addition of Jacques' Herb Butter, the cooperative is expanding its range with herb butter and seasonings that seamlessly complement its existing portfolio. This strengthens CONO's market position, increases its added value for customers and partners, and creates room for innovation, while maintaining quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability.

The role of Match Plan

The sales process got off to a remarkable start: initially, Wim van der Linde took the first steps himself.
