LEQUAL strengthens Happy Horizon's position in the Amsterdam market
The takeover from digital marketing agency LEQUAL fits within the active buy and build strategy of Happy Horizon, further strengthening the group with companies that bring complementary expertise and clients. The addition of LEQUAL increases Happy Horizon's footprint in the Amsterdam region and further expands its client base.
Online returns are central at LEQUAL
LEQUAL was founded in 2016 by entrepreneur Rick Burgers and is based in Amsterdam. The agency helps clients generate online revenue with strategic and results-oriented marketing advice. With a young and ambitious team of specialists, LEQUAL is fully focused on maximizing online returns. Rick Burgers will remain active as managing director following the acquisition.
Growth while maintaining local strength
Happy Horizon is an agency group with over 220 specialists across offices in Amsterdam, Apeldoorn, Eindhoven, Nistelrode, and Berlin. The acquisition of LEQUAL is part of its broader growth strategy and marks the twelfth affiliated company within the group.

Match Plan as a permanent acquisition advisor
In addition to advising on establishing Happy Horizon's current shareholder structure in 2016, this was the seventh acquisition in which Match Plan assisted the group. The team provided support, among other things, in drafting the Letter of Intent (LOI), conducting the negotiations and the successful closing.
