Oberon Medialab joins Atabix Group for further growth and innovation

Oberon Medialab is taking a new step in its development by joining Atabix Group. With this sale Oberon gains access to a broad network and additional resources to further develop its expertise in digital platforms and complex IT solutions. Atabix aims to become a leading player in the eGovernment Solutions market, and the partnership with Oberon contributes to this ambition. Match Plan guided Oberon throughout the entire sales process and ensured a smooth and successful transaction.

Digital innovation at the heart of Oberon

Since its founding in 1993, Oberon has evolved into a specialist in web and app development, user-friendly digital environments, and strategic IT solutions. Based in Amsterdam, the team of specialists works on future-proof digital products for businesses and government agencies.

By joining Atabix Group, Oberon can leverage its knowledge and experience more broadly, particularly within the public sector. The shared focus on accessible and efficient software for government agencies offers opportunities to develop innovative and impactful solutions.

“"The collaboration with Atabix Group opens up new possibilities and markets for Oberon. We're pleased to have found a partner with the same entrepreneurial culture that will enable Oberon to grow further and offer new opportunities and challenges for our team. Atabix has a strong position in the public sector. With our expertise, we can further increase our positive impact on society by developing user-friendly applications for government agencies."” – Gert Braun, Director at Oberon

Growth opportunities within Atabix Group

Atabix Group focuses on the digitalization of critical processes in government and large corporate organizations. Since DELTA Equity Partners acquired a majority stake in Atabix in 2022, the group has experienced strong growth. Kodision previously joined the group, and the arrival of Oberon further strengthens its strength in eGovernment solutions.

“Atabix Group has the domain expertise to develop high-quality software solutions for the government. Accessibility for citizens and civil servants is and will become increasingly important. With the addition of Oberon to the Atabix Group, our strength will be even greater, and we will be able to develop products that also distinguish themselves through user experience. The buy-and-build strategy we've implemented is really starting to pay off and isn't finished yet.” – David Westerhof, CEO at Atabix Group

For Oberon, this acquisition means access to a broader market, synergy with other tech experts, and the opportunity to further develop its services and technologies within a larger organization.
