Logicall Group executes PPA for acquisition of VCK Logistics

Logicall Group, an international logistics service provider, engaged Match Plan to value intangible assets for the acquisition of VCK Logistics. The valuation was necessary for the accounting treatment of the transaction, in accordance with applicable financial reporting guidelines. Through a Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) The value of intangible assets—such as customer relationships and brand rights—was accurately determined. The analysis provides Logicall with insight into the acquisition's impact on company value and supports strategic integration.

Strengthening logistics services

VCK Logistics offers a wide range of logistics services, including warehousing, air and sea freight, e-commerce fulfillment, and distribution. From strategic locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and Vietnam, the company supports clients in optimizing their supply chains. The acquired divisions – VCK Logistics Supply Chain Solutions, Air Freight, and Ocean Freight – have been part of Logicall Group since November 2022. The 'VCK' brand name will remain in use for one year.

 

The takeover fits within the buy and build strategy of Logicall Group (formerly Janssen Group of Companies), further expanding the organization's international network and economies of scale. This combined strength allows Logicall to serve customers worldwide even better with integrated logistics solutions.

Through strategic acquisitions, the group strengthens its position in transport, storage, and returns logistics, among other areas. Match Plan guides the valuation process

Match Plan provided the Logicall Group with valuation of the intangible assets of VCK Logistics, with the aim of correctly accounting for the acquisition in the financial statements. This valuation assignment was performed by Richard Peeters, Director of Valuation at Match Plan.
