Janssen performs PPA for post-acquisition financial reporting

Janssen, a logistics service provider with a rich history, has engaged Match Plan to implement a Purchase Price Allocation (PPA). The valuation of intangible assets was necessary for the accounting treatment of previous acquisitions and the preparation of the annual financial statements. Match Plan supported Janssen in determining, among other things, customer relationships, brand value, and technologies, in accordance with applicable reporting guidelines.

Janssen is the holding company for a group of logistics companies with over 140 years of experience in providing and coordinating transport and supply chain solutions. With a wide range of services—ranging from air and sea freight to parcel distribution, warehousing, and assembly—Janssen supports its customers worldwide. The focus is on improving efficiency and achieving cost savings within the logistics process, supported by data analysis and smart technology.

Reinforcement by Waterland Private Equity

On January 13, 2022, investment company Waterland Private Equity acquired 100% of the shares in Janssen through Janssen GOC Holding BV. The arrival of Waterland marks the beginning of a new phase focused on further growth. Part of this development is the rebranding of Janssen to Logicall Group. The new name reflects the ambition to remain a leading international player in technical, data-driven logistics solutions. This growth strategy is partly shaped by an active buy and build strategy, whereby Logicall wants to further strengthen its market position through targeted acquisitions within the logistics sector.

Match Plan supports the valuation process

Match Plan managed the entire PPA process for Janssen, ensuring the acquisitions were accurately processed in the financial administration.
