The agricultural daycare center Het Bonte Koetje continues under Eigen&Wijzer
Het Bonte Koetje daycare center in Montfoort has been part of Samenwerkende Kinderopvang since June 2025 and will continue under the Eigen&Wijzer label. This gives Het Bonte Koetje a solid foundation within a national organization committed to growth, collaboration, and quality. For children, parents, and staff, this means familiar care with the assurance of continuity.
Growing up among animals and nature
Het Bonte Koetje began in 2007 as a small-scale initiative by Jantine Lekkerkerker and, over the past seventeen years, has grown into a unique childcare facility in the heart of the Groene Hart region. Here, children discover nature through play every day and live among animals. With 60 childcare places and a close-knit team of 20 employees, Het Bonte Koetje has become a beloved place where peace, space, and personal attention are paramount. After nearly two decades of entrepreneurship, Jantine has decided to hand over the reins.

Samenwerkende Kinderopvang is a childcare organization with over 400 locations offering daycare, toddler care, and after-school care. All locations are part of one of its distinctive labels. Each label offers a tailored range of childcare options, tailored to the local needs and demands of families in the region.
In total, all locations provide childcare for over 34,000 children every week. Under the Eigen&Wijzer label, the organization offers high-quality childcare that combines development, continuity, and local involvement. With the addition of Het Bonte Koetje, Eigen&Wijzer strengthens its presence in the region and enriches its offerings with an agricultural location that allows children to learn in and from nature.

It sales process Match Plan assisted with the project. The process was challenging: a previous buyer couldn't secure financing. Thanks to swift action, Match Plan was able to connect with Samenwerkende Kinderopvang (Cooperative Childcare).
