Multi Bier establishes Purchase Price Allocation for the acquisition of De Kikvorsch
Multi Bier, a leading wholesaler of specialty beer, has engaged Match Plan to value various intangible assets following the acquisition of De Kikvorsch. This valuation was performed via a Purchase Price Allocation (PPA), in accordance with the Guidelines for Annual Reporting. The value of customer relationships was carefully assessed. This allowed the acquisition to be correctly processed in the financial administration and gave Multi Bier insight into the impact on its corporate value.
Strategic expansion of market share
Multi Bier supplies craft beer and supplementary services to liquor stores, supermarkets, hospitality businesses, and craft breweries. The company also offers supply chain solutions such as repackaging, private label services, and logistics support. De Kikvorsch operates as a wholesaler of craft beer and focuses on distribution primarily to retail and hospitality clients. The acquisition of De Kikvorsch aligns with Multi Bier's ambition to further strengthen its market position and serve customers even better with innovative, customized solutions.
Accounting processing
For this acquisition, Multi Bier prepared a PPA in accordance with the Mergers and Acquisitions Regulations (RJ Mergers and Acquisitions), the guideline that requires the acquisition price to be allocated to the individual assets and liabilities of the acquired party. Correct allocation is essential for transparent reporting and well-considered strategic decision-making.
