HENSGENS, a family business with a rich history in mobility, has engaged Match Plan for an indicative business valuation. The valuation was carried out in the context of a proposed business transfer within the family and provides insight into the current value of the company as a basis for a careful and fair transfer.

From gas station to mobility specialist

HENSGENS was founded in 1956 and has grown into a full-fledged mobility company with locations in Maastricht and Nieuwstadt. The organization offers a wide range of services, including maintenance, repairs, and the sale of new and used cars. Since 2015, the company has been responding to the growing demand for high-quality used cars and customized vehicles under the "Selected by Hensgens" label. Since the end of 2020, HENSGENS has also actively focused on hybrid and electric vehicles with its "Green Mobility by Hensgens" brand.

Valuation based on DCF methodology

Match Plan used the following for the evaluation: Discounted Cash Flow Method (DCF), a commonly used valuation method that considers the company's future cash flows. This takes into account HENSGENS's risk profile and the company's financial performance. The valuation provides a realistic picture of the company's economic value as a basis for the transfer.
